96 points Decanter: "51% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Meunier. Striking nose of white pepper, strawberry and red berries. Lovely orange fruit character, spicy grip, salinity and length. It's superb now; it's be even better in a year or four. Bravo! (DWWA 2021)"

94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(34% chardonnay, 51% pinot noir, 15% meunier; Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 with 15% red wines from Bouzy; 8g/L dosage in this pre-release sample, and it might be 9g/L in the final release ‘to make it more precise'). It’s in Clicquot’s red wine facilities that I’ve encountered some of the most transcendental red wines in all of Champagne, visible to the world only through the window of its rosé blends. Fifteen percent Bouzy rouge transforms its Vintage 2012 into a medium salmon crimson hue. The voice of pinot noir speaks with depth and vibrancy, wafting seamlessly with rose petal fragrance and swimming in layers of strawberries, raspberries and red cherries, accented with notes of pink pepper. The true mastery of red winemaking in Champagne is tannin texture, and this wine is a case study in how it’s done: so subtly that it does nothing to interrupt the profound, salty chalk minerality of a great season, yet with the confidence to hold a finish of great length and allure. Another impressive vintage in the line of greatest hits of this rosé specialist. Kudos to Dominique Demarville for skipping the dreary 2009, 2010 and 2011 vintages. If only more houses had the same quality imperative. (2020-2021)"

94 points James Suckling: "A rosé Champagne for red-wine drinkers, thanks to all the red-berry and earthy character, plus some rather serious tannins. The long finish is carried by a positive hint of bitterness. Pinot noir dominates the blend, of which 14% was red wine made specifically for this product. Drink or hold. (1/5/22)"

93 points Wine & Spirits: "This is a powerful Rosé, built with the addition of 13 percent red wine (pinot noir from Bouzy) and 11 percent of the blend aged in oak foudres. It starts off youthfully intense, with a smoky black-tea edge to the tannins. The wine is structured and savory, freighted with limestone earthiness until it grows bright and racy with air. This is built to last. (Dec 2021)"
