95 points Wine Spectator: "A lithe red, exuding fresh cherry and strawberry fruit, rose petal and mineral flavors. Showcases airy texture and lightness that add to its finesse, while a fine line of tannins underneath provide structure without any edges. Displays beautiful harmony and length. Best from 2024 through 2042. (Nov 2022)."

93 points Susan Hulme (The Wine Independent): "The 2018 Trediberri Barolo del comune di La Morra has attractive faded rose and ripe strawberry aromas with a very gentle hug of vanilla and cream. On standing the aromas become more perfumed. This wine has a very nice texture, weight and harmony on the palate and the tannins are better integrated than on the 2017 version of this wine. This is all balanced by tangy, refreshing acidity, strawberries-warmed-in-the-sun flavors, attractive, chalky-textured tannins and a lingering, savory finish. Drink from 2023 to 2040. Drink 2023-2040 (Jul 2022)."

92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2018 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is absolutely gorgeous. Bright and translucent yet with remarkable depth for the year, the 2018 is terrific. Proprietor Nicola Oberto decided not to bottle his flagship Barolo from Rocche dell'Annunziata and used the fruit to bolster his straight Barolo bottling, a decision that was spot on. Sweet red cherry, orange peel, cinnamon, tobacco and dried leaves are all very nicely lifted in this ethereal, nuanced Barolo. The 2018 is simply exquisite. Readers will have a hard time finding a better example of the year at this level. Drink: 2024-2036. (Feb 2022)"

91 points James Suckling: "A pleasant Barolo with red fruit, some water melon and a hint of nutty vanilla. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a tight finish. Give it a year or two for the tannins to soften. (2/7/22)"

17/20 points Walter Speller (JancisRobinson.com): "La Morra. Lustrous mid ruby. Lively strawberry nose with dark-spice notes and hints of rhubarb and raspberries. Soft and gentle on the palate and very accessible but with plenty of depth. Fine grip of tannins on a long finish. Skilfully made and lively. Drink: 2022-2030. (Jul 2022)"
