Producer notes: "My second release of this lesser known Rhone variety, originally from Spain, and one that has traditionally been a blending variety. The grapes were picked earlier than most winemakers do - why? I wanted to show off the 'earthier' and more 'rustic' nature of this variety - and I think I truly did just that! 100% whole cluster, foot stomped by Larry, fermented with their stems, pressed and then aged for 16 months in older French oak barrels. Buy it, pour it and enjoy it with a variety of foods - or on its own."
