96-100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A 60/40 split of Grenache and Syrah from a site located in the hills above Los Olivos, the deep purple/ruby-hued 2022 P2KV Colson Canyon Vineyard has an incredible nose of red, blue, and black fruits interwoven with lots of exotic spice, sandalwood, candied orange, and incense. One of the most complex, layered, seamless wines in the lineup from Tensley, it's full-bodied, has gorgeous tannins, and flawless balance. This is going to come in near the top of the pyramid and will flirt with perfection. (8/30/23)"

94-96 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "Still in barrel, the 2022 P2KV Colson Canyon Vineyard is a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache from vines planted in 1997. It has an arresting perfume of Old Spice, Morello cherries, grilled game meats and milk chocolate that blossom to licorice and savory herbs as it spends time in the glass. The full-bodied palate is highly concentrated, perfumed and spicy. It has a frame of plush, approachable tannins, juicy acidity and a very long, spicy finish. It already feels complete! (12/29/23)"
