94-96 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "Mainly Mourvèdre (85%), with Cinsault and Grenache, the 2020 Bandol la Tourtine was still in foudre at the time of my visit last year. Scents of cola, smoke and red berries provide ample complexity on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is concentrated and almost creamy in texture while remaining fresh and dynamic on the lengthy finish. Drink: 2023-2040. (Jan 2023)"

95 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "As usual, La Tourtine goes even further in terms of density and flavors. An exceptional breed that will appease its ardor over time. (2023)"

Importer notes: "80% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache, 10% Cinsault. The three single-vineyards of Domaine Tempier are: La Migoua, La Tourtine, and Cabassaou. All are made up of clay and limestone, but there are variations in each. La Tourtine sits just above Cabassaou. The soil here is more homogeneous, with rich clay. La Tourtine produces powerful, tannic wines with gorgeous fruit character."
