It's a co-fermentation of Malbec with 40% Cabernet Franc, and it feels like the Gualtallary soils kind of cushioned the effect of the warmer and drier year; the wine has some restraint within the more generous profile of the year. It matured in used 225-liter barriques for 18 months and comes through as elegant, harmonious and subtle. 1,500 bottles were filled in February 2020. Drink: 2021-2026. (Mar 2021)"
