96 points Aldo Fiordelli (JamesSuckling.com): "Intoxicating nose of sweet violets, mint, eucalyptus, balsamic, pomegranates and a touch of leather. Full-bodied and weighty, with fruit concentration, velvety integrated tannins, lifted acidity and a savory, floral finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. (1/11/25)"
95 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$78 list] Riddled with cherry, plum, tar, licorice and iron, this red expresses both fresh and developing flavors. While the fruit is vibrant, the woodsy, truffle and tobacco notes also add to the appeal. Shows fine balance and length. Best from 2029 through 2048. 340 cases made, 100 cases imported. (1/21/26)"
94 points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "Vivid deep red. Perfumed aromas of redcurrant, minerals and orange peel. Very lifted but deep in the mouth, with brisk acidity nicely framing the sweet fleshy fruit flavours. The tannins are quite silky and the fruit crisp and pure. An excellent Barolo that closes long fresh and mineral, with repeating hints of orange peel. Drinking window: 2028-2039. (5/9/25)"
