95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "An initial hint of funk (reduction) on the nose doesn't obscure the fact that this riesling GG has very intense spice and wild-berry character. Very concentrated and compact with ripe acidity, the minerality and slightly peppery tannins delivering the freshness. Mouthwatering finish that's simultaneously limey, herbal and saline. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold. (10/5/21)"

94 points Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2020er Frühlingsplätzchen Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, offers a beautifully reductive and finely aromatic and flowery nose of lime tree, herbs, white peach, smoke, and lozenge. The wine proves very clean and vibrating on the palate, where a touch of cream adds even more playfulness to the experience. The finish remains however focused, razor-sharp, and bone-dry. Lovers of racy expression of dry Riesling will love this wine. 2024-2032. (Nov 2021)"

18.5/20 points Michael Schmidt (JancisRobinson.com): "One has to work hard to work out the individual character of a site in Tim Frohlich’s very young Grosse Gewächse as they all tend to be close to each other in their wild herbal exuberance, but I seem to detect an individual interpretation in the Frühlingsplätzchen, with aromas of sage and mint. Relatively speaking, on the palate the wine appears almost a little lighter and softer than some of its siblings, even grapefruit gets a look-in with a refreshing citrusy quality. Drinking Window: 2023-2035. (8/30/21)"
