96 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "Luciano Sandrone's 2011 Barolo Cannubi Boschis is shaping up to be one of the protagonists of the vintage. I say 'shaping up' because the wine is still in a youthful stage and has yet to open up fully. Tight and firm, it shows the potential for enormous depth and dimension with dark fruit, spice, licorice and white truffle. If you taste through Sandrone's older vintages, it is apparent that they perform exceptionally well in warm years like 2011. It promises a rewarding evolution ahead but I would suggest waiting five more years before popping the cork. Drink: 2018-2030. (Jun 2015)"

96 points James Suckling: "Dark red fruit with dried strawberries and sliced plums on the nose, as well as some dried fruit and cedar. Full-bodied and very chewy for a Cannubi. Tannic and powerful. Very old-style. Muscular. Try after 2023. (7/5/21)"

95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2011 Barolo Cannubi Boschis is brilliant stuff and shows the warmer, richer style of the vintage fabulously well. Deep, rich, and sexy, with lots of kirsch and blackberry fruits, it has classic spice, licorice, and floral notes, full body, sweet tannins, and a big finish. It’s drinking beautifully today and leads with its fruit, yet it has the mid-palate depth and balance to keep for another 15+ years. Drink: 2018-2033. (12/13/18)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2011 Barolo Cannubi Boschis is super impressive. Early signs of aromatic nuance have started to develop, but just barely. More than anything else, the 2011 impresses for its body and pure depth, both of which the 2011 has in spades. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and spice all build as this dramatic Barolo shows off its allure. The 2011 has aged beautifully. I would prefer to drink it over the next decade. This is a re-release from the winery. Drink: 2021-2031. (Feb 2021)"
