Deceptive in its mid-weight structure, the 2017 is framed by grippy tannins that give shape and persistence. Rose petal, sweet berry, mint, orange zest, white pepper and wild flowers all grace this super-expressive Nebbiolo. I would cellar it for another year or two. Alternatively, a good bit of aeration will do wonders. This is quintessential Alto Piemonte Nebbiolo. Drink: 2021-2029. (Sep 2020)"
