While harvest is generally later here than in warmer areas, the 2019 harvest was the latest winemaker Alessandro Campatelli can remember, starting mid-October and finishing on the 20th. The freshness of the vintage is evident in the mint, tobacco and fennel fragrances. Redcurrant, cranberry and raspberry chime in on the palate, but it is well ripe.
