92 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 28 20. The 2019er Graacher Dompropst Riesling Alte Reben, as it is referred to on the consumer label, is a legally dry wine (with 6.5 g/l of residual sugar) made in traditional Fuder cask from fruit picked on 80-year-old un-grafted vines in the Domprobstbann part of the vineyard. It offers a zesty, fruity, aromatic, and fresh nose of lime, orange zest, pink grapefruit, herbs, earthy spices, smoke, licorice, and blackberry. Some nicely tickly acidity lifts up the flavors on the palate before a smoother but also quite delicate side underpinned by nice ripe yellow fruit comes through. The wine leaves a nice feel of zest and spices in the impressive and slightly powerful finish. A touch of tartness still needs to integrate in the after-taste of this beautiful and comparatively fruit-driven expression of dry Riesling. 2023-2029. (Aug 2020)"
90 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Graacher Dompropst Riesling Alte Reben is deep, ripe, intense and finely flinty/slatey on the nose that is really elegant and detailed. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and juicy Dompropst with a very long, intense and concentrated but also powerful and warming finish that reveals fine crystalline acidity. Very long and with iodine notes yet powerful. Tasted at the domain in September 2020. Drink: 2025-2040. (Oct 2020)"
