93-97 points Fine Wine Review: "These wines were tasted on the last day of August 2007, the week prior to their bottling. Simply, this is the greatest collection of young Prüm wines I’ve yet encountered, and I have been tasting young Prüm wines for many years... The Graacher Himmelreich Auslese shows the vanillin aromas typical of the vineyard, and the wine is deep, pure, sweet, long, and powerful with peach cobbler aromas. (Issue #120; 2008)"

95 points/'Highly Recommended,' Wine Spectator: "Seamless from start to finish. Aromas of rose, slate and smoke segue into lime and peach flavors in this elegant, stately white. Crisp and transparent, with precise balance and a classic Mosel profile. Has a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2035. (4/30/08)"

95 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 01 08. This offers a very nice even if reduced feel of cassis, coconut, pineapple and dried herbs. The wine is nicely zesty, focused and yet creamy on the palate and leaves an incredibly multi-layered feel of delicately honeyed tropical fruits in the finish. The wine proves already utterly enjoyable but will still gain in finesse with a few years of bottle aging as the current sweetness will mellow away. 2021-2041. (Jan 2016)"

94 points Wine & Spirits: "While Prüm is renowned for his wines from the Wehlener Sonnenuhr, this Auslese demonstrates that the wines from the neighboring vineyard of Graacher Himmelreich can be equally as refined. This is creamy in texture and tone, its plush flavors of apricot and white peach backed by a savory minerality. The firm acidity keeps it feeling racy and fresh, with an intensely slatey minerality turning more prominent on the finish. (Dec 2008)"

93 points Falstaff (8/28/14).
