94 points Wine Spectator: "A graceful blanc de blancs. Vibrant acidity buoys the rich flavors of brioche, ripe apricot and baked persimmon, with a briny hint of oyster shell, all of which expand on the palate's finely detailed mousse. Offers a lingering, lightly spiced finish. Drink now through 2028. 2,220 cases made. (12/15/19)"

94 points James Suckling: "Lemon and grapefruit tightly cut into place with powerful acidity and lots of lemon citrus on the nose as well as grilled hazelnuts. The palate has impressively deep-set citrus flavors, and refreshing layers build with terrific depth, power and nutty warmth. (10/7/16)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2008 Ployez-Jacquemart Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut was disgorged in October of 2018, after having spent more than nine and half years aging sur latte. The wine delivers a beautifully complex bouquet of pear, delicious apples, almond, chalky soil tones, hints of crème patissière and a gently floral topnote. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, and rock solid at the core, with fine mineral drive, excellent mousse and a long, dry and beautifully balanced finish. This is a superb wine that is quite tasty at age ten, but clearly is still climbing and will be even better five to ten years down the road. Impressive. 2019-2050. (Jul/Aug 2019)"
