92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "More lemon and lime with notable elegance, some floral notes, better acidity, a little lime infusion to the otherwise yellower fruit, very good length. Excellent. Tingling finish. (Oct 2021)"

89-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here the nicely expressive nose displays much more floral influence, especially acacia blossom, to the mostly white fleshed fruit scents that are trimmed in hints of wood and spice. The dense, delicious and sappy medium weight flavors possess a lovely texture while delivering outstanding length on the balanced, clean and agreeably dry finale. This is an excellent Puligny villages that should amply repay 5 to 8 years of keeping. Drink: 2026+. (Jun 2022)"

91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Noyers Bret has a well-defined bouquet with apple blossom, grass clippings and granite aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, good concentration with a slightly petrolly finish. This is one of the best cuvées from Pillot. Drink: 2023-2030. (Dec 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Deeper, faintly reductive – not showing all it has to start but becoming better and better with aeration. More open, more fluid, perhaps more mineral too. Proper tension. Today I like the extra attractiveness of the Meursault – but this is simply excellent villages! (12/25/21)"
