91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction and it is enough to push the underlying fruit to the background. By contrast there is good verve and freshness to the moderately dense flavors that possess almost painful intensity on the lemony, linear and chiseled finale that flashes both first-rate depth and length. It's rare for Macherelles to achieve this level of quality - color me impressed. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2022)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "In tank. Pale lemon, the nose is a halfway house between the Maltroie and the extra fruit energy of Champgain. Good tension at the finish, more in white fruit, fresh peach without suggesting over-ripeness and very good length. Heavier clay here compared to Chenevottes. (Oct 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "This was the first test plot that was put in organic by Antonin – the results were so good – the rest of the domaine is now in conversion. A deeply vibrant nose but with comfort attached too and slowly becoming more airy. Crystalline, finesse of texture. Back to the vibrancy in the middle and finishing flavour. Yes! (12/25/21)"
