93 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 3.5 ha parcel of 45+ year old vines, most of which is in Folatières proper with .40 ha in Peux Bois; Pernot pointed out that for the 2020 vintage, this will not be labeled as Clos des Folatières). There is a lurking suggestion of the exotic to the aromas of white peach, passion fruit, citrus confit and acacia blossom. The rich, caressing and palate coating medium weight flavors that flash an evident stoniness on the clean, moderately dry and impressively persistent finale. This is unusually powerful for the vineyard and I very much like the overall sense of harmony. Note that this too could reasonably be approached on the younger side if desired. Drink: 2026+. The colour is pale with a light yellow tint while the bouquet indicates that this is one of the riper wines in the line-up. Plenty of punch, just a little bit of warmth but less than 2019. A minor muscat honeysuckle key, just enough to add to the charm rather than denature. Tasted: October 2021. (Dec 2021)"

Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's a charming, elegantly musky wine built around succulent acids, concluding with a long, saline finish. Drink: 2021-2035. (Jan 2022)"

More mouth-filling and round – the minerality is more obvious today. Slow waves of finishing flavour here. Excellent wine – this more to wait for. (Nov 2021)"
