91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .7 ha parcel that was purchased by Pernot's great grandfather; it was replanted in 1957 and a portion of the vines are aligoté). Once again there is a smoky component to the pretty and cool aromas of ripe citrus confit, essence of pear and plenty of floral wisps. There is slightly better concentration to the palate coating middle weight flavors that exude more evident minerality on the youthfully austere, focused and nicely lingering finale. This too should amply repay mid-term keeping yet be reasonably approachable after only 2 to 3 years. Drink: 2026+. (Jun 2022)"
91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Very pale, a light nose with some floral character, very stony in the mouth, less flesh than the other Pernot Puligny 1ers Crus, less volume but a pleasing enough carry through. Tasted: October 2021. (Dec 2021)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Always a little more power here – the clos shared with Magenta/Jadot. Planted in 56…) A little more open – a fine almost granular aromatic complexity here – that’s fine. Larger, more structural, less fleshy. Framed with a fine grain of tannin. Very long. (Nov 2021)"
