This is the first wine to display much reduction and it's enough to render the fruit unreadable so I would suggest a quick aeration if you're going to try a bottle young. More interesting are the nicely voluminous flavors that possess very good minerality that adds a sense of lift to the succulent, sappy and lingering finish. This also exhibits perceptible warmth though it's not really enough to significantly impair the balance. Drink: 2024+. (Jun 2020)"

Above is a more meagre soil with more silex – it’s an old cleared wood, we think it less interesting there.’ Oldest vines of the domain, planted in 1954. A nice full nose with a little more floral emphasis. Lots of mouth-filling shape, freshness too – I like the purity of the fruit here, edged with a modest depth of texture.
