95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru comes from four parcels owned by the Pernot family, three in Puligny and one across the border in Chassagne, amounting two two barrels (one new this year). This has a very focused bouquet with fine delineation, taut and fresh, hints of lemon sherbet, dessicated orange peel and just a faint smudge of almond. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh, more saline than the Chevalier-Montrachet with great tension and poise towards the finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent. Drink: 2025-2045. (Dec 2021)"

95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Two barrels from the family. Partly from young vines on the Chassagne side, the rest in Puligny. Beautiful pale lemon and lime, a Bâtard with finesse. Plenty of weight, if maybe less than the Paul Pernot version, a little more complexity of fruit though for sure, quite an interesting wine of medium intensity for Bâtard. Tasted: October 2021. (Dec 2021)"

94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has turned out especially well, offering up aromas of pear, orange oil, white flowers and buttered toast, followed by a full-bodied, rich and satiny palate that's textural but vibrant, underpinned by lively acids and chalky structuring extract. Concluding with a saline finish, it will merit some bottle age. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jan 2022)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Lots of aromatic freshness here – rather more guarded below. Really concentrated but also really with energy and super-fine acidity – more like a Chevalier in the last vintages – that’s so well done. Another really top wine – 2020 is really delivering here. (12/23/21)"

Presumably from her family's holdings, my guess is that—even picking earlier and from higher-elevation sections of the vineyard vis à vis Domaine Paul Pernot—the weight and power intrinsic to the terroir will eclipse harvest-date and/or winemaking decisions.
