90-93 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An appealingly fresh nose of red berries and discreet floral and spice nuances precedes supple and well-detailed middle weight flavors that possess excellent volume and mid-palate concentration that exhibit a subtle minerality on the less youthfully austere but equally structured finale. Patience again suggested. Drink: 2030+. (Apr 2020)"
92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 les Lavières from Domaine Pavelot is a fine bottle in the making and very impressively red fruity this year. The bouquet delivers a refined blend of red plums, cherries, currants, gamebird, gentle spice tones, a beautiful base of soil and a deft framing of new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very elegant in profile, with impressive mid-palate depth, ripe, seamless tannins and excellent focus and grip on the long, complex and very classy finish. A fine, fine example of one of my favorite premier crus in the commune. 2027-2060. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
