90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Fine classic purple, with a really stylish yet also attractively full bodied bouquet, then plenty of substance at the front of the palate. Fine grained here, as Hugues likes to use Tronçais wood on this. Fine indeed, but with a volume of fruit as well. (Jun 2020)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "A nose that’s broad at the base, but a little compact higher up. Bubbling with energy, the tannin a little more visible than in the Bressandes but this wine is more about its energy and a lovely mouth-watering style to the flavour. Broad, with a little ripe tannin in the finish. To wait for a while but here the flavour is delicious. (Nov 2020)"
