89-91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chablis Vent d’Ange was picked at 30hl/ha and is aged 70% in tank, 30% in barrel for 30 months. It has an attractive and very pure bouquet with scents of wild honey percolating through the white peach and light apricot aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine delineation. Light peppery notes emerge on the finish with a long tail. Fine. Drink: 2023-2033. (Sep 2022)"
Thomas Pico's naturally-farmed and -produced wines are the essence of “Chablis”, but not only in their briny minerality. There is a sense of vitality to the wines, and a textured density that can only come from dedicated work in the vineyards and transparent winemaking.
