91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Marsannay En Clémongeots comes from 40-year-old vines, 50% whole bunches, and had been racked the week prior to my visit. There is lovely ripe raspberry and strawberry fruit on the nose, which is a little more floral than the La Montagne. The medium-bodied palate offers candied orange peel on the entry, fine weight and grip and a tang of spice toward the lively finish. This is an excellent wine from Sylvain Pataille. Drink: 2020-2030. (Jan 2019)"

91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Marsannay En Clémengeots is also showing beautifully, unfurling in the glass with scents of raspberries and Griotte cherries mingled with hints of candied peel, peonies and bergamot. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and succulent, with a charming core of fruit and powdery structuring tannins. Located at the northern border of Couchey, this east-facing site is characterized by shallow clay soils over limestone. Drink: 2022-2037. (Feb 2020)"
