Pago de los Capellanes Joven Roble Ribera del Duero 2019

This fresh and vibrant Ribera del Duro from Pago de los Capellanes is referred to as their "Joven" or "Roble". Made from 100% Tempranillo, it is naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks, aged in French oak for only 5 months and then bottled and released for enjoyment. The firm, chalky tannins are moderated here by juicy dark berry fruit character. Rocky minerality adds a terrific counterpoint. In the mouth, the texture is full, elegant, long lasting and velvety.
