Domaine Nerantzi, situated in Pentapolis, Serres, in Macedonia, owns the last remaining vineyard of the indigenous white Asprouda of Seres grape variety. They started to vinify this varietal in 2007, and it was first commercially released in 2013. The wine has a deep gold color. The nose is complex and intense with aromas of jasmine, hazelnuts, sage, ginger and cardamom. Quite exotic with flavors of apricots, nectarine, white flowers and a rich pastry savor. Full bodied but also elegant with soft acid and a long finish. Enjoy with a meal of poultry, salads, fishes in sauce and Mediterranean food.
