94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2014 base vintage; Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger; 20% 2013 reserves; entirely fermented and aged 8 months in barriques; full malolactic fermentation; no fining or filtration; 33,000 bottles). Formerly named ‘Grand Cru Brut’, this cuvée has undergone a magnificent transformation inside and out, and the 2014 base represents a stunning starting point stronger than I have ever seen for Pierre Amillet’s range. He has masterfully captured an excellent expression of Le Mesnil, celebrating the deep fingerprint of the village in fine, frothing salt minerality and dynamic acidity. His mandate of ripeness is exemplified in beautiful fruit character of pear and apple, tensioned with bright, pure lemon and grapefruit. Barrel fermentation builds texture without disrupting the purity and precision of Les Mesnil, making for a finish of impressive line and length. (2020-2021)"

92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The NV Extra-Brut Les Grands Blancs is a rich, vinous Champagne that shows the more extroverted side of Mesnil. Low dosage brings that out even more. Lemon confit, marzipan dried flowers, spice and chamomile add striking inner sweetness to a wine that balances power with translucent energy. The Grands Blancs is a terrific introduction to these wines. The current release is a blend of vintages 2015 and 2014. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: May, 2019. Drink: 2020-2028. (Nov 2020)"

91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in May 2019 with three grams per liter dosage, Moncuit's NV Extra-Brut Grand Cru Les Grands Blancs is the latest rendition of the cuvée that formerly simply bore the name Blanc de Blancs. Derived from the 2015 and 2014 vintages, it's showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of ripe lemons, honeycomb and hints of the warm bread to come with a little more age on cork. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy but nicely defined, with an open core that reflects its constituent vintages, a delicate mousse and a sapid, penetrating finish. Drink: 2020-2035. (Apr 2020)"
