Sweet, piquant and elegant on the palate, this is a pristine, highly finessed and salty, concentrated yet lush and highly refined WSU with palate-tickling grip and crystalline acidity. The finish is stimulatingly salty and intense and made for long bottle aging, even though the 2018 is already dangerously great and seductive. Compared to the Zeltinger sister Auslese, the Wehlener is the finer and more delicate wine this year. Tasted at the domain in September 2020. Drink: 2030-2070. (Oct 2020)"
