90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Last of the whites, the 2018 M5 White checks in as a blend of mostly Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, with smaller amounts of Viognier, Marsanne, and Picpoul Blanc. Its light gold color is followed by notes of ripe lemons, tart pineapple, spice, and white flowers. It's elegant, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, and offers some serious quality for not much buck. (10/31/19)" Producer notes: "[$29 list] Our M5 White is similar to a White Rhône blend like Châteauneuf-du-Pape (blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Picpoul). M is for Margerum, 5 is for 5 grapes. It has rich with complex flavors, a long finish. You will see a slight straw and golden hues with a viscosity that clings to the glass as it is swirled. M5 White has a full, round and pleasing with ample acidity to balance the richness that will continue to evolve with time in bottle. Apricots, white floral, sweet honey, hints of brioche toast, sweet pea flowers and pineapple. Flavors of apple, wet stone and a touch of peach nectar engage with a lovely long persistent finish that lingers."
