100% Gewürztraminer. Medium plus body, a touch of residual sugar, notes of apricot and lychee.
Not yet reviewed; 2019 vintage rated 91 points by John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2019 Gewurztraminer from Domaine Albert Mann is a juicy and complex wine right out of the blocks and will drink beautifully from the moment it hits these shores. The wine comes in at fourteen percent octane and was fermented to almost complete dryness, offering up a vivid bouquet of lychee nut, spiced meats, pear, a fine base of chalky soil tones, orange zest and plenty of spice in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and complex, with a lovely core, good soil signature and a long, bright and very nicely balanced finish. The acids are on the low side here, so this will not make particularly old bones, but for drinking over the next decade, this is going to be delicious. 2020-2030."
