94 points Cameron Douglas, MS (Decanter): "Distinctive, almost exotic, pure and ripe with aromas of lemons and grapefruit, white spice and wild flowers, apple and sweet herbs. The silky textured palate and fruit density gives way to a youthful, refreshing line of acidity, soft herbs, notes of flowers, mineral and spices. Drinking Window: 2021-2025. (Dec 2020)"

91 points Wine Spectator: "[$28 list] Complex and effusive, showing fresh notes of lemon verbena, thyme and white pepper, with a core of Key lime, ruby grapefruit and other vibrant citrus flavors. Features an intense, harmonious finish. Drink now. (2022)"

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$28 list] This wine has seen some ups and downs the past few years, but this vintage is lovely, full of attractive, round peach, lychee, rosewater and ginger aromas that are perfumed but not over-the-top in boisterousness. The creaminess that's hinted on the nose is confirmed on the palate, where a slippery texture is lifted by juicy fruit and ginger spice. There's a bit of sulfur, and residual sugar too, but the work the Crawfords do in the winery with multiple fermentation vessels, wild yeast and partial malolactic fermentation to gain texture and complexity has paid off. Alcohol 13.5%. (Dec 2021)"

90 points Rebecca Gibb, MW (Vinous): "A rather elegant and reserved Sauvignon Blanc. There's a sense of tranquility through the silky midpalate, with toned-down Marlborough aromas of honeydew melon, pear and elderflower. A little residual sugar (5g/L) gives a lick of sweetness on entry and fleshes out the palate, but the sweetness is balanced by the gently refreshing finish (although I'd personally prefer to see it even drier). A textured, restrained impression with partial fermentation in neutral oak and 20% malolactic conversion. Drink: 2020-2023. (Nov 2020)"

Producer notes: "Water white, with a hint of green and gold. Lifted aromatics of canned peaches, pineapple, nettle, fresh herbs, and elder flower. The palate bursts with white peach, cantaloupe, Cape gooseberry and green apple underscored by green tea and a ripe herbal backbone. Long citrus and mineral finish, with linear acidity balanced by creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol 13.0%."
