92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Lovely depth for a village wine, this is very 'Gevrey', with a dark fruit character, lots of spice, more plum than cherry and an earthy, savoury note. On the palate there are firm tannins and a satisfying length. Produced from the lieux-dits of Les Seuvrées and La Justice, among others, there were 10% whole clusters fermented on native yeasts and aged for two winters in cask (20% new). Drinking Window: 2021-2034. (Jan 2021)"
90-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(50% from Les Seuvrées with the remainder from Fourneaux and Les Jeunes Rois). A mentholated top note is present on the more restrained nose of red berries, underbrush and a touch of humus. The delicious medium weight flavors possess a relatively supple mid-palate that immediately tightens up on the youthfully austere and moderately rustic finish that flashes outstanding depth and persistence for a villages level wine. This built-to-age effort is excellent. Drink: 2029+. (Apr 2021)"
