94 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "'A mixture of fruit from Le Corton in Aloxe-Corton and Les Grandes Lolières in Pernand-Vergelesses goes into this wine - the latter of which has replaced Bressandes in the cuvée. It sees one-third whole bunches and is an intensely perfumed, sappy style of Corton that's all about minerality and freshness rather than tannin. Drink: 2024-2032. (Nov 2018)"

91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Corton from the Aloxe side plus Grands Lolières. This comes from a new source, the first time Ben has found something which corresponds to his image of Corton. Not a deep colour and the bouquet shows light but fine gentle red fruits. There is a little more weight of fruit on the palate at the back and a fine persistent finish. Some ethereal qualities, yet so far from the (incorrect) blockbuster image of Corton. (Nov 2018)"

17.5/20 points Jancis Robinson: "Frosted in 2016. 20% new oak. Barrel sample. Mid crimson. Beautifully scented with peppery red fruit and a light floral note. Sour and tangy too, lifting it out of the glass. Mouth-wateringly fresh and silky, scented from start to finish and with perfect harmony of fruit and structure. No need to wait too long but this will certainly age gracefully. (1/18/19)"
