90-93 points Fine Wine Review: "Excellent depth, stoniness, good structure, freshness. Apply young Chardonnay fruit. Should be able to age well. More of a Côte de Nuits here than with the previous wines. (11/17/19)"
90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos de l'Arlot Blanc 1er Cru is matured in 20% new oak. It has a well-defined and fragrant bouquet, subtle scents of marzipan and orange pith unfurling with aeration. The well-balanced palate offers orange peel and a touch of bitter lemon on the entry. This delivers more weight and a little more density than the La Gerbotte, finishing with pleasing salinity and a hint of toffee apple. Give it a couple of years in bottle. Drink: 2022-2035. (Jan 2020)"

The vines of Clos de l'Arlot sprawl across rocky, rugged soils and grow upon extremely steep hillsides making harvest and care a painstaking task. The exposure promotes ideal ripeness without causing any imbalance to the grapes, as this bottling takes on a beautiful combination of firmness and opulence that represents Burgundy to a T.
