90-92 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos de la Chatenière comes from vines on hard limestone and some parts suffered some hydric stress, according to Olivier Lamy. It has a rather austere bouquet at the moment with reluctant flint and smoky scents developing in the glass. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry with good acidity, linear and correct, again more austere than Olivier Lamy's other crus in 2015, with a saline finish. It has just been sulfured, so I expect it will develop more fruité by the time of bottling. Good potential here. Drink: 2018-2028. (Dec 2016)"

90-92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(from south-facing 50-year-old, millerandé vines on hard limestone): Bright light yellow. A superb mineral expression on the nose, offering Chablis-like scents of lemon and crushed rock. Densely packed and energetic; more generous than the Remilly, conveying captivating ripeness and pliancy but also terrific cut to its sweet peachy fruit. Lamy told me last year that this parcel suffered from hydric stress in July but from bottle I don't find the slightly green, peppery character the wine displayed last year. (Sep 2017)"

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(worked entirely by hand as the vineyard has a 40% slope which ensures that it receives plenty of sun). This too is aromatically quite smoky with hints of brioche and wood on the matchstick-infused floral and white-fleshed fruit scents. There is a bit more volume to the tension-filled medium-bodied flavors that offer fine richness on the sappy if slightly less elegant and persistent finale. Still, this bitter lemon-inflected effort is really quite good and also worth considering. Drink: 2021+. (Jun 2017)"
