90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2019 Bourgogne rouge from Domaine Lafarge is a lovely example of the vintage. The nose is bright and nicely red fruity, offering up scents of cherries, red plums, a touch of summer truffle, a lovely base of soil tones and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is bright, full and shows lovely depth at the core, with a nice subplot of soil, just a bit of tannin and impressive length and grip on the classically balanced finish. The Lafarges’ Bourgogne is always one of the top regional bottlings and the 2019 is no exception. Just give it a bit of bottle age. 2025-2045. (Jan/Feb 2022)"

90.2 points CellarTracker.com community score.

88-90 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Quite pale purple with very sensual perfume, classical and pure, while displaying a sunny register. What really shows though is the exceptional length of this wine. Gorgeous. (Oct 2020)"

89 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Bourgogne Pinot Noir mingles scents of plums and red berries with hints of petals and orange rind in an inviting mélange, followed by a medium-bodied, bright and perfumed palate that's seamless and elegant. This lovely wine is routinely among the Côte de Beaune's finest regional bottlings. Drink: 2022-2037. (Jan 2021)"

'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is also exuberantly fresh and bright with a very pinot nose of red berries, earth and more spice elements that are reflected by the sleek, delicious and well-detailed middle weight flavors that possess even better depth and persistence. This too boxes well above its weight. Drink: 2024+. (Apr 2021)"
