95 points James Suckling: "Aromas of plums and berries with flowers and dried meat. It’s full-bodied with round, juicy tannins and an extremely polished and beautiful finish. Hints of walnut and spice at the end, not to mention ash. Very attractive to taste now, but better after 2025. (11/11/20)"
93 points Ian D'Agata (Vinous): "The 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from La Fiorita is a pretty, floral and sweetly spiced effort. Dried roses, black cherry, cinnamon, clove and a dusting of cocoa create a seductive display. It’s silky in texture and polished, with depths of dark red berry fruit, wild herbal tones and a note of menthol, which forms toward the close. The first hint of tannin comes through in the finish, yet it is perfectly balanced by residual acids with an air of inner rose lingering long. In the past, I’ve found the style of this house to be too focused on ripeness and wood, yet that is not the case in this wonderfully balanced and oak-integrated 2015 Riserva. Drink: 2022-2030. (Nov 2020)"
92 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Sourced exclusively from the Pian Bossolino vineyard and aged for over two years in French oak barrels, the 2015 Brunello Riserva is rich with aromas of sun-dried leather, blackcurrant, tobacco, and baked earth. The palate is approachable and noted by blackberry coulis, violets, vanilla and baking spice, with consistent and fine-grained tannins. The sunniness of the vintage lends this to enjoyment now or over the next 10 years. Drink 2021-2031. (3/4/21)"
