92 points Mosel Fine Wines: "The 2021er Goldtröpfchen Riesling Kabinett, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from fruit harvested from up to 40-year-old vines in the Niederemmel part of the vineyard at 80° Oechsle and was fermented spontaneously in stainless-steel tank down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (53 g/l). It offers a quite aromatic and attractive nose of pear, raspberry, pomegranate, tangerine, candied lime, and aniseed herbs. The wine proves delicately refined and zesty on the light-footed yet focused and racy palate. The finish is herbal and still needs to integrate its sharpness before true greatness.
