99 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "How does one go up the ladder from the superb Morstein Auslese? I really have no idea how this was done, but Klaus-Peter has managed to do so and the 2015 Goldkapsel from the Morstein is utterly brilliant wine. The magically pure and complex nose offers up a constellation of tangerine, lime, simply scintillating minerality, citrus zest, gentle hone tones, orange oil and just a whisper of the leather that will come with extended bottle age. On the palate the wine is pure, fullish and dancing, with a creamy core of fruit, electric acidity and simply perfect focus and balance on the very, very long, complex and tensile finish. It is hard to imagine a wine of this concentration and purity, without any botrytis whatsoever, but there is no noble rot here at all, just desiccated berries from Passerillage! 2023-2065+." A brooding, reserved bouquet of caramelised lemon, wet stones and white flowers is followed by a massively textural, powerful wine underpinned by equally pronounced but and minerality. While this is the largest-scaled of Keller's Grosses Gewächs, it's no less weightlessly elegant. Drink: 2020-2070. Alcohol 13%. (Apr 2017)"
