Ataulfos is Jiménez-Landi’s flagship wine, made from old-vine Garnacha grown in their finest parcel, a vineyard of just 1.5 hectares planted with bush vines facing westwards, at an altitude of 830 meters on silica-sand soils of former granite. Ataulfos demonstrates the wine's expression to the fullest, with splendid freshness, fruitiness and intense floral, and mineral aromas. Ripe raspberry and blueberry aromas with nuances of balsamic, chalk and earth are followed by an intense and well-balanced palate with structured tannins and high acidity. An excellent Garnacha. Food pairings: Beautiful with roast suckling pig, veal carpaccio and roast lamb.
