95 points Tim Atkin, MW: "Made with purchased grapes, but none the worse for that, this is one a range of impressive reds from the village’s signature Premier Cru in 2015, showing flavours that have as much in common with Volnay as they do with a typical Nuits. Sappy, fine and scented with a layer of textured tannins. 2021-28. (Jan 2017)"
92-95 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A pungent assortment of menthol, oak, red currant, violet and orange peel introduces the refined yet powerful and intense middle weight plus flavors that are blessed with both fine concentration and ample minerality, all wrapped in a textured and highly persistent finish. This is as complex as the Vaucrains but notably finer though not quite as powerful. What I particularly like about this range of Nuits 1ers is just how each of them has something unique to offer though if I had to choose just one, the LSG is the most complete. Drink: 2030+. (Apr 2017)"
