92-96 points/'5-Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A crisp bright purple colour. This has a gorgeous purity and precision, a ravishing lifted red fruit intensity, good acidity and well ripened tannins. Very elegant yet intense Chambolle, with a beautiful finish. (Nov 2021)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2022)

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées (Domaine Louis Jadot) reveals a deep bouquet of plums, dark berry fruit, exotic spices, orange rind and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, with powdery tannins, tangy acids and a mineral finish, it's a real success. (Jan 2022)"

93 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "A compact red, with pure cherry, earth and oak spices fused to bracing acidity and dense, finely wrought tannins. Though this feels balanced and long, the finish is lightly astringent. Be patient. Best from 2025 through 2043. 100 cases made, 50 cases imported. (2023)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is also quite floral-suffused with plenty of spice elements adding a touch of elegance to the ripe and mostly liqueur-like aromas of various dark berries. There is excellent underlying tension to the detailed and markedly finer though less powerful flavors that conclude in a moderately austere and sneaky long finale. This is a wine that should be reasonably approachable after 6 to 8 years but also one that should reward 12 to 15. Drink: 2032+. (Apr 2022)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has a reserved bouquet, a mixture of red and black fruit, black pepper, allspice and just a hint of pencil shavings. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, fresh and lightly spiced with a harmonious, almost Vosne-like finish where I just wanted to see a little more mineralité. Let’s see if it gains some during the remainder of its barrel maturation. Drink: 2025-2042. (Dec 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Domaine Louis Jadot). A brighter, more intense nose. Much more structural – more Bonnes-Mares style. Slowly fading – more discrete finishing – so lovely wine but today, give me the previous one! (Dec 2021)"
