92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The new release of Solessence Nature from Jean-Marc Sélèque is from the base year of 2015, with the fifty percent of reserve wines utilized all hailing from this cuvée’s solera or perpetual reserve. The wine has been given a longer time on its lees than the last iteration of this bottling, having been disgorged in October of 2020. Its cépages is fifty percent chardonnay, forty percent pinot meunier and ten percent pinot noir. The wine delivers a superb aromatic constellation of white peach, apple, raw almond, a beautifully complex base of soil tones, patissière and a lovely floral topnote from its pinot meunier component. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a rock solid core, excellent mineral undertow, refined mousse and a long, bone-dry, but beautifully balanced finish. The acids are nicely softened up here from the extended aging sur latte, so the wine is quite approachable out of the blocks, though it is clearly built to age. 2021-2045. (Mar/Apr 2021)"
92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Based on the 2016 vintage, the newly released NV Extra Brut Solessence Nature unwinds in the glass with scents of white flowers, crisp green apple, spring blossom and almond paste. Medium to full-bodied, ample and precise, it's a bright, vibrant wine with chalky structure and a long, saline finish. As usual, this cuvée is the same as the regular Solessence, but it sees longer aging on the lees before disgorgement without dosage. Drink: 2023-2035. (Aug 2022)"
