95 points Rebecca Gibb, MW (Vinous): "The 2021 Clos du Bourg Sec is an ample, full bodied wine with a stream of acidity. Pure, floral and fragrant with aromas of pineapple, violets and fresh grapes. While rich, it is light in sensation, like a cloud of Chenin filling the mouth, and finishes with a fine, almost powdery and chalky texture. Drink: 2022-2035. (Sep 2022)"

94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Clos du Bourg reveals itself with more substance, a beautiful energetic grain, a graceful texture and a finish chiseled by beautiful bitter notes. (2023)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Clos du Bourg Sec is the ripest of the these three wines from Domaine Huët, coming in just a touch riper at 13.5 percent alcohol in this challenging vintage. The bouquet is bright and more citrusy in composition than the other two Secs this year, offering up notes of lemon, sweet quince, a touch of pink grapefruit, citrus zest, a complex base of limestone soil tones, dried flowers and a bit of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is vibrant, full-bodied, focused and complex, with an excellent core of fruit, fine soil undertow and grip and a long, well-balanced and classy finish. This has a bit more mid-palate amplitude than either the Le Haut Lieu or Le Mont Sec bottlings this year, but not quite the same backend mineral drive and lift, so it is really a question of one’s stylistic preference (at least out of the blocks) which style one might prefer. My gut feeling is that the Clos du Bourg Sec will eventually just nose out the other two cuvées, but for drinking over the first twenty years in bottle, I would opt for either of the other two single vineyard wines and allow this vintage of Clos du Bourg to comfortably rest in the cellar! However, it is certainly not closed out of the blocks and is easy to enjoy at the present time. 2022-2070. (Jul/Aug 2022)"

93 points James Suckling: "Initially this dry Vouvray is a bit closed on the nose, but has terrific structure and wonderful elegance on the rather rich yet very focused palate. Then, with some aeration, the delicate citrus-zest and peach-skin aromas develop. Long finish that’s simultaneously creamy and stony. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. (1/5/23)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "Supremely elegant, fresh and juicy, with tightly coiled flavors of succulent apple and honeycomb highlighted by salted almond, pastry cream and a grounding base of mineral. Offers impressive concentration and purity, with a cashmerelike texture that lingers long after the last sip. Drink now through 2027. 100 cases made. (12/15/22)"
