The 2018 version couples the nicely ripe fruit of the vintage to this lovely foundation of terroir, wafting from the glass in a vibrant blend of apple, pear, citrus zest, a touch of beeswax, chalky minerality and a topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is ripe, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a lovely core, good soil signature, zesty acids and fine length and grip on the well-balanced and classy finish. This is really a good example of the vintage. 2020-2030. (Jul/Aug 2020)"

'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from chardonnay muscaté). There is a touch of the exotic in the form of muscat and lychee nut to the pear liqueur scents. Once again there is fine volume to the intense, dense and almost muscular flavors that also terminate in a bone dry and chiseled finale. Worth checking out. Drink: 2022+. (Oct 2019)"
