93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Offering up attractive aromas of blood orange, red berries, peach, orchard fruit and brioche, Henriot's just-released 2012 Brut Rosé Millésimé is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with fine concentration, ripe but racy acids, a delicate mousse and a long, saline finish. This is one of the more intense, vinous wines to emerge from Henriot in some time, and it's very promising. Drink: 2019-2033. (Apr 2019)"
93 points Wine Spectator: "[$125 list] An elegant rosé Champagne, layering flavors of ripe cherry, blood orange sorbet and orchard blossom on the delicate, finely detailed mousse, with lightly mouthwatering acidity and a zesty underpinning lending focus through to the lightly spiced finish. Drink now through 2027. 400 cases imported. (12/15/19)"
93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(40% chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, particularly Avize, Chouilly, Vertus and Épernay; 50% pinot, mostly from the Montagne de Reims, particularly Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Verzy, Verzenay, Avenay-Val-d’Or and Trépail; 10% meunier; 10% of very light and aromatic red wine made in house with pre-ferment maceration and regular plunging to extract flavour and colour; 70% premier and grand crus; 35% reserves, including Cuve 38 (see previous page); aged 4.5 years on lees; 8g/L dosage; 7–8% of production, hence 100–120,000 bottles). Fresnet’s ambitions with rosé are fruitiness and creamy texture, not colour, so he blends in dark glasses. It’s always an impressive colour considering, and surprisingly pale for 10% red wine, reflecting the delicacy of his reds. The result is a rosé of pretty pale to medium-salmon hue that occupies a place midway between the extremes of elegance and depth on the grand rosé spectrum, alive with rose hip, strawberry and morello cherry poise, contrasting with savoury notes of tomato and cracked pink pepper, even a note of sarsaparilla. The succulent fruit presence of pinot noir defines a juicy mid-palate, while gently handled pinot noir red wine offers a fine-grained structure of well-gauged tannin presence, melding harmoniously with fine, salty chalk mineral texture and bright acidity on a long finish of even line and well-integrated dosage. Celebrating the calibre of largely grand cru sourcing, this is a compellingly complex and alluringly precise, bright and fruity rosé of creamy bead, elegant appeal and savoury complexity.
