**(*) Peter Liem (ChampagneGuide.net): "While this is fresh in color, its aromas on the nose veer towards more developed notes of graham cracker, Brazil nut and toasted brioche, although they’re kept lively and taut by an elegant reduction. It’s a little surprising after that to see how full and ripe the wine appears on the palate, showing the warmth of the vintage while remaining anchored by both tense acidity and saline chalkiness, and the flavors unfold with an elegant harmony and poise throughout the long finish. This is excellent, needing plenty of time in the glass to put itself together yet showing a compelling sophistication and refinement, and it feels as if it still has plenty of room to develop further in the cellar. (2/3/20)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "Rich and creamy in texture, offering black currant pâte de fruit, creamed almond, pastry cream and lemon confit flavors, with a clean-cut, chalky finish. Impressive, with good tension to the vivid acidity, this resembles a jittery horse at the gate today, and doesn't quite find a sense of rhythm. Tasted from magnum. Best from 2016 through 2029. 100 cases imported. (12/15/14)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "Henriot's 1999 La Cuvée des Enchanteleurs is gorgeous. Warm, toasty notes meld into almond, hazelnut, anise, dried pear and smoke nuances. All the elements come together effortlessly as this gracious, expressive Champagne blossoms in the glass. The 1999 is super-expressive today, but also has enough depth to drink well for another decade-plus. In 1999, the Cuvée des Enchanteleurs was bottled exclusively in magnum. This is a terrific showing from Henriot. Disgorged September 2013. Drink: 2014-2024. (Nov 2014)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 1999 Henriot Cuvée Enchanteleurs is a racy and beautifully structured example of this ripe vintage, as it shows great cut, minerality and precision on the palate. The outstanding and still fairly youthful nose wafts from the glass in a complex mix of apple, lemon, stony minerality, brioche, gentle smokiness and a lovely topnote of orange zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite generous on the attack, with a rock solid core of fruit, very refined, pinpoint bubbles, crisp acids and outstanding focus and grip on the very long and perfectly balanced finish. The 1999 Cuvée Enchanteleurs really only shows its vintage’s exuberance in its touch of plumpness on the attack, and the fact that it is uncharacteristically wide open in its relative youth, whereas recent vintages such as 1998, 1996 and 1995 Cuvée Enchanteleurs were very tightly-knit at this stage in their evolutions. A beautiful wine. 2014-2035. (May/Jun 2014)"

18.5/20 points Jancis Robinson, MW: "Lively with a very tight bead and very delicate and filigree. Nice wine! Neat rather than showy, but would make a lovely aperitif. Extremely clean and spreads right across the palate. Retasting note: Fine and firm and pretty sophisticated and positive. Very dense and no hurry to drink. Rapier-like. (12/19/08)"
