92 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Vineyards in Brochon supply fruit for four of the five vineyards in this old vine cuvée (the other one is in Gevrey) and it shows in the zip and crunch of the wine. The old vines add depth and texture to the palate, with 40% new wood framing the finish. Drinking Window: 2022-2027. (Nov 2018)"
91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Phillip Harmand’s 2017 Vieilles Vignes bottling is also excellent this year. The wine delivers a classic nose of black cherries, dark berries, grilled meats, espresso, black minerality, woodsmoke and a touch of chicory in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and quite focused, with a good core, fine soil signature, moderate tannins and a long, poised and very nicely balanced finish. 2021-2050. (Nov/Dec 2018)"
