Superb (90-95)/Highly Recommended, Wine Enthusiast: "Crystal-clear and pure. Nose is unabashedly smoky in the first nosings; aeration smoothes it out as fetching aromas of mint, harvested grain and grain husk assert themselves. On palate, the entry is intensely grainy, silky and off-dry; the midpalate offers moderate bite plus chewy tastes of cracked wheat and cocoa bean. Aftertaste is dry, cleansing and medium-long."
Laura Foster (Decanter): "A French vodka made from winter wheat grown in Picardy - the 'bread basket of France' - and limestone-filtered spring water from the Cognac region. Grey Goose was created by François Thibault, who was maître de chai at H Mounier in Cognac when he decided to create the world's first premium vodka in 1997. Buttery yet mineral with craked black pepper and anise hints it's a versatile vodka to mix with. (Mar 2022)"
