This gorgeous Champagne is a blend of grapes from 22 different premier cru and grand cru plots; 6.4g/L dosage; 50% reserve wine; 3 years minimum ageing on the lees. On the palate, the lees aging comes through clearly, bringing an earthy flavor and great tannins. Notes of smoke, hazelnut, mineral, and white/yellow flowers accent the core of yellow apple. It’s reminiscent of good white Burgundy.
